STANDFIRST - Chuchu believes in good things ahead for DeMbare
Former Dynamos head coach, David Mandigora, may have heard the news of Dynamos' 4-0 victory to Highlanders or watched the electric display by his for

With the dismal performance in the previous matches, a foreign football
enthusiast could have been forgiven for thinking Dynamos was nothing
but an overrated Zimbabwean team.

But the performance by each player at Rufaro stadium, last Sunday, sent
Dynamos supporters into a frenzy. The victory proved something about
the caretaker coach, Elvis Chiweshe.

Chiweshe, otherwise known as Chuchu, who took charge from the juniors
following Yogie's departure said: This is a sign of good things to
come.

The team needs to recover from the loss of the other previous matches;
I have told the players that we are playing the next three matches for
the supporters, explained Chuchu.

They (supporters) are the water and we are the fish; we need their
support so that the team continues to play well. I'm there as a coach
to help the team with technical support and the supporters has their
role to play.

Chuchu and his charges certainly pleased their followers who are quick
to appreciate good results but who are also not slow to criticize in
any case of a loss.

Chiweshe's strength was in his team selection, which saw every player
assuming his rightful position and doing their best in the park.
Malajila appeared to have been overrated displaying none of Sunday's
spectacular attacks in the few matches he has featured for Dynamos so
far.

But it seems that he had not been partnered well up front. His
combination with Marufu proved reliable as Desmond Maringwa, Rueben
Mhlanga, Tafadzwa Maingire, Benjamin Marere and Wonder Stole gave the
support from the midfield. Thomas Sweswe, George Magariro and Brighton
Tuwaya assisted in clearing the balls before Willard Manyatera on the
guard.

Chiweshe was satisfied by the performance of his team and wishes to
maintain it for the other matches to come; reckoning inconsistency in
team selection was DeMbare's blow since the league season kicked off.

We intend to maintain this team and if we will have changes then it
will be few. I am happy with how they played; this is just what we
needed today, said Chiweshe.
