HARARE - Dynamos, unsettled after coach David Yogi' Mandigora quit last Thursday, face probably their toughest assignment of the season to date in a potentially explosive clash against perennial rivals Highlanders at Rufaro

Former Dynamos great Elvis Chiweshe, thrust into the hot seat after
Yogi's long foreseen departure after a rather depressing start to the
season by DeMbare, will have to summon all his experience to steady his
players and keep them focused on the battle against a Boss outfit that
is enjoying life at the top of the premiership log table.

Highlanders are brimming with confidence after an impressive start to
the season which saw them notch three victories, two draws and one
defeat to collect a set of 11 points and the top slot at the table
ahead of second placed Hwange who trail them by a point.

DeMbare are down on ninth position with only seven points from their
first two outings against Underhill and Black Rhinos — which they won
by an identical 3-0 margin — and a draw to Njube Sundowns.

Dynamos and Highlanders were the only two teams to win consecutively in
their first two matches. While Bosso have had a bump here and there,
they seem to have been able to maintain their tempo but DeMbare
certainly quickly lost the steam, posting a series of unimpressive
results in subsequent games after their two opening victories.

Chiweshe, otherwise known as Chuchu among the Dynamos crowd, will have
to make sure his charges quickly bounce from the upheavals of last week
if they are to come with anything against Highlanders who have never
lacked motivation against their Harare rivals.

After the clash with Highlanders, Chiweshe will have to also plan for
equally challenging assignments in the following weeks against an
attacking Shooting Stars and a stubborn Gunners.

A draw away from their Bulawayo fortress will not be bad for
Highlanders who have displayed some entertaining and rewarding football
since the beginning of the season.

Week 7 fixtures: Black Rhinos vs Hwange, Lengthens vs Bantu Rovers,
Sundowns vs Caps United, Highlanders vs Dynamos, Shooting Stars vs
Eagles, Highway vs Gunners, Underhill vs Monomotapa, Motor Action vs
Kiglon.
