Former Bosso striker, Cuthbert Malajila, was on fire, scoring a hat
trick as he helped his new side, Dynamos to humiliate his former team
mates on the field.
His old Chapungu pairing striker, Phillip Marufu, scored the other goal
to give DeMbare caretaker coach, Elvis Chuchu Chiweshe a good start
with the senior side in a bid to restore the glamour. Chiweshe took
over from David Mandigora, who threw in the towel last week following
consecutive weeks of poor results in his charge.
Malajila and Marufu disrespected and exposed Bosso's defense with their great speed on attack.
Marufu scored early in the third minute, when Malajila drove from the
middle of the park to fire a shot from the left flank but Highlanders
goalkeeper punched it to the side as Marufu bundled it into the nets.
Then came Malajila's goals galore, which sucked the life from Bosso who
were flying high in their previous matches, to sit smiling on the third
position.
He scored his first, Dynamos' second in the 11th minute from a
commotion in the box when two Bosso defenders thought they had their
goal safe with each besides the posts, but Malajila headed it in from
Wonder Stole's rebound.
He then received one of the best crosses. Midfielder, Desmond Maringwa,
unleashed the whole of the afternoon, to escape a Highlanders offside
trap before coming face to face with goalkeeper, pulling the trigger
for DeMbare's third, in the 26th minute.
Just as Highlanders anticipated a referee to call for an offside
decision on Malajila and dragged their feet in the left flank, Marufu
and Malajila did not stop. Former Bosso striker scored unchallenged as
if he was at training.
