OBITUARY: Piet Smit

Piet Smit, the Technical Director of SAARF for many years, has died. He had a successful hip replacement a couple of weeks ago and was well on his way to recovery when he died suddenly on Friday night. Doctors suspect that it was due to a massive pulmonary embolism.
