The club said in a statement that it is talking to the former Moroka Swallows coach with the view of bringing him back to the club as an assistant to new Ajax coach Muhsin Etugral.

The club would like to announce that negotiations are in progress to bring Ian Gorowa back to Ikamva. The Ajax management will meet with him to finalize an agreement, the club said in a statement.

All negotiations regarding the appointments of Gorowa and Hans Vonk are due to be finalized in the next few weeks, meanwhile Wilfred Mugeyi will remain at Ikamva as the second assistant and will be meeting with the newly appointed head coach in June.
Gorowa has previously worked with Etugral at Ajax where they achieved success.
They helped the Cape Town-based club to win the Absa Cup in the 2006/07 season.
After the victory, Gorowa quit the club to assume a coaching position at Moroka Swallows who he helped finish third in the league in 2007.

His last job was at Thanda Royal Zulu where he was fired alongside Roger Palmgree after the club finished second-bottom of the league.
