Energy Murambadoro, top Zimbabwean-born goalkeeper wins award

Zimbabwean goalkeeper, Energy Murambadoro, 26, who is plying his trade in the South African premier soccer league for Bidvest Wits, won

Murambadoro who is considered one of the finest goalkeepers in the
South African top flight football was voted for the prestigious award
by fellow team mates, as his team finished in sixth position.

The club awards also saw Junaid Mashamaite being voted as the Player of the Season.

The young and energetic goalkeeper, Darren Keet, who played eight games
and won two Man of the Match awards in the just ended soccer season,
was voted Young Player of the Year.

Murambadoro who was member of the Zimbabwean side that took part in the
2004 and 2006 African Nations Cup, together with his teammates,
