Tsvangirai, who lost his wife of 31 years, Susan in a freak car crash
along the Harare/Masvingo highway on March 6, elicited curious stares
at the Union Building when he arrived with an identified woman,
sparking widespread speculation that it was his second wife.

However, James Maridadi, the Prime Minister’s spokesman has since
announced that the woman in question is, in fact, Tsvangirai’s niece
Arikana Chihombori, a medical doctor based in the United States.

"She was also invited to the inauguration," Maridadi said. He did not
immediately explain in what capacity she was invited to Zuma’s
inauguration.
