Umguza: Some schools in the region continue to charge the previousterm's exorbitant fees arguing that they have not yet received official communication to reduce them. Despite a much held belief that theteachers have called off their strike, many schools in Umguza districtare operating with skeleton staff. In many schools in the district children spend most of their time basking in the sun. Schools such asSawmills, Deli, and St Peters Primary schools as well as Nyamandlovu and Nhlambabaloyi Secondary Scools are hard hit by the non-return ofteachers for duty this term. The situation could be similar in most schools hitting hard on the education sector for the second consecutive year for Zimbabwean schools.
