The Harare giants won six games and drew six to lose only three of the 15 matches played so far. But the staunch Green Machine fanatics take their teams performance casually.

Media reports have recently hinted that Chitembwe is under pressure to please his bosses to avoid being fired. Speculation was rife that Caps United officials were losing patience with the man who appeared to be failing to live up to the expectations of his followers.

But Jere recently made it clear that they had no intentions of firing Chitembwe. He is a young coach, Im very happy with what he has managed to achieve so far at the club. For the past four years Caps United has been struggling, fighting for relegation each time but this time we are at position four by the half season break, to be honest I will never lose sleep because of that, he said.

Jere explained that the club directors had no problems with the MaKepeKepe supporters as he said he often met with the supporters committee for updates on the team. He told The Zimbabwean that Chitembwe was in control of events although some misfortunes were been inevitable.
