Mathuthu hopes to restore Bulls pride

soccer_ballFormer Caps United mentor, Jostein Mathuthu, who is back at the Motor Action camp as head coach, hopes his return will help turn around the fortunes of the Mighty Bulls who have had a rather disappointing start to the seasons.

Mathuthu replaced Lindile Dube, a fortnight ago, hoping that his presence will bring positive results to Motor Action.

With his first assignment at the colliery, in week a 14 fixture of the premier soccer league, Mathuthu held Hwange to a 1-all draw, the tenth draw for Motor Action since the beginning of the season.

The Bulls were at position 11 on the 16-team premier soccer league log table having suffered two loses and won only two, before their match against Shooting Stars, yesterday.

Mathuthu realizes the challenge he is faced with as he reckons that the team he is in charge of is different from the one he once led before he left for Caps United, last season.

I have not been following all of Motor Actions matches this season but I have realized that they have a stronger side this time around. I like the challenge Im faced with and I want to make my presence felt, he said.

There is not much time for us, we need to find a solution quickly and start winning

matches consistently.

Although the Mighty Bulls are 13 points behind log leaders, Dynamos, in Week 14, Mathuthu believes now is not the time to throw in the towel for the championship title. He realizes how his sides several stalemates may paint a picture of a weak Bull, but he insists on how good the single points are to them.

Dynamos had a bad start of the season but once they started winning consistently things got better for them; so all we need is somewhere to start with and start picking up all points, its very possible for us to start climbing up the ladder he said.
