Maxwell Jongwe, head coach of Kiglon

soccer_ballKiglon head coach, Maxwell Jongwe, is happy with his sides performance so far, despite the three losses they have suffered. His side displayed a spirited performance against Gunners, to snatch a point in a match. The few football fans present at Rufaro seemed to believe that Kiglon was treated unfairly by the referees.

Although refusing to comment on the match officiating, Jongwe, who had previously protested to the fourth official, Tendai Bwanya, for an unfair offside decision that cancelled their winning goal, told The Zimbabwean, his side played well as a team.
Im quite happy with the boys performance so far, they have been doing well and hopefully they keep playing with such a fighting spirit, he said.

As the premiership half season break beckons, the window period for the transfer of players will soon be open. Almost every team will be on the market to source for new players to beef up their squads.
Jongwe believes Kiglon will not be left out. He appreciates the players he has but believes they will be a need to take a few new players on board. We will need one or two new players, not to say we are not happy with those we have. Im happy with their performance, everyone has been playing to their best, said Jongwe.

Kiglon is in position seven of the premier soccer league log table. They have amassed a total of 22 points, 10 points behind league leaders, Dynamos. Jongwes charges have encountered eight draws and won four.
