MDC national conference ends on high note

The just ended two-day MDC 9th Annual National Conference held in Harare over the weekend was a colourful event in which the party re-energised itself and left a national imprint as the largest political movement in the country.


The Conference was a robust forum for debate, punctuated by a review of the party policies as portfolio secretaries made their policy presentations to the delegates.

The lively debates at the Conference proved that democracy reigns supreme in the party as party secretaries were regularly grilled by the delegates.

The historic two-day event, attended by guests from all parts of the countries and the MDC external assemblies mainly in South Africa, the UK and the USA, showed that the party continued to grow from strength to strength.

The conference also showed that the MDCs organs remain vibrant and they continue to meet to review and redefine the path of the party in line with partys Constitution.

The MDC is a party of excellence. The momentous resolutions at the conference showed that the MDC remains a bastion of people power. Together with the people, we will continue to march towards a new Zimbabwe.

Destination Zimbabwe is in sight.
