The committee is chaired by Zanu (PF) legislator, Joram Gumbo, and is a sub committee of the Standing Rules Committee. Gumbo confirmed this development.
“There are some car dealers interested in supplying us with vehicles. We are weighing up their offers.
Members of the House of Assembly and Senate were elected into office during the harmonised elections on March 29 last year, but are yet to receive cars.
The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor, Gideon Gono, offered parliamentarians cars, which the central bank was using for its quasi-fiscal operations, but the MDC-T leadership refused the vehicles.



HARARE - The Conditions of Service Committee this week met with several car dealers to organise vehicles for parliamentarians.
