Power Tel reduces tariffs

zesaBULAWAYO - ZESA Holdings subsidiary, Power Tel, has reduced its tariffs by 25 per cent from the beginning of the month. In a statement the company said this was in line with changes in the operating environment.


There have been a number of firms streamlining their costs. Our prices remain competitive in the region and Power Tel will continue to improve service delivery, said the company.

There have been calls for players in the communication industry to reduce their charges in order to allow business to function properly. The reduction in tariffs follows that by state owned cellular network provider Net One that slashed tariff by 30 per cent, and is expected to significantly lower overhead costs for many firms relying on Power Tel services.
