The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) head of business development, Jeffrey
Manjengwa, said the international resort area had since upgraded its hotels
in line with the FIFA’s stipulated standards.
“Because this particular World Cup is an African event, we want all
countries to have a slice of this 2010 cake,” said Manjengwa.
He said aggressive advertising of Zimbabwe’s tourism and hospitality had
been stepped up again, especially that the 2010 World Cup is beaconing for
the Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states.

HARARE - A high-powered Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) delegation is set to tour Victoria Falls today to vet Zimbabwe's high standard hotels ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
