We are living in great fear because some of the war veterans approached us and told us that we would be dealt with ruthlessly if we did not renounce our MDC membership. They are very serious and we fear they might return to haunt us again. People are afraid of them, said Gwashure.

MDC widows live in fear
MASVINGO - Widows whose husbands were murdered during last years bloody election period have said that they live in fear of Zanu (PF)s continued intimidation.
Nyaradzo Gwashure of Zaka district whose husband was killed last year, said self-styled war veterans were causing terror by verbally insulting the MDC supporters in the area and threatening more beatings and killings.
