ZNCC calls for economic focus

economyHARARE - The government should quickly resolve outstanding issues of the Global
Political Agreement (GPA) so the focus can be shifted to economic development, the president of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC), Obert Sibanda, has said.

“The government should move with speed to address these outstanding issues as they affect business and the nation negatively,” said Sibanda in a recent interview. “We urge the parties to finalise the outstanding issues in the GPA and resolve them amicably so that the country can focus on economic development, which we so desperately need.”

Sibanda said the three principals, Robert Mugabe of Zanu (PF), Prime Minister Morgan
Tsvangirai of MDC-T and Deputy Prime Minister, Arthur Mutambara of MDC-M should put their house in order for the benefit of the country.
