Police Chief Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Wayne Bvudzijena, said the force was operating under serious pressure. Lack of resources is hampering our efforts to curb crime in Zimbabwe and we appeal for well wishers to come and assist, he said.

ZRP suffers lack of resources
HARARE - Lack of critical resources such as fuel and transport has compromised the Zimbabwe Republic Polices (ZRP) service delivery. The failure by the government to provide fuel has meant that complainants are forced to organise transport for police officers to attend cases. This severely disadvantages those who do not have access to vehicles.
