The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange has broken the US$ 100 million today at an average of $1,1million dollars in daily trade. This reflects significant improvement from the first day of trade (February 19) when shares in Apex worth $32,26 traded. The last counters to register trade were Pelhams and Radar on 25 March.In that regard the initial trading prices for all counters were set and basing on these prices Zimnat Asset Management estimates that the accurate initial Market Capitalisation was $2,236,197,916.06. The highest daily trade value was recorded on the 19th of June when $6.9m worth of shares exchanged hands. Market Capitalisation has grown by 65.22% to $3,289,150,588.20 basing on the last prices that each counter traded at.
Trade has been biased towards the top 20 companies in terms of market capitalisation.
