Harare Magistrate court

A Bulawayo Polytechnic student activist appeared in court on charges of insulting the office and person of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

He was released on free bail and judgment will be passed on the 8th of July.

Bikita Magistrate court

Former University of Zimbabwe students union Treasurer and Youth Forum Board Chairperson and six others appeared in court on charges of undermining police authority.

Madock Chivasa, Farirayi Mageza, Simbai Hillary Zhou, C.Mhofu, Tapiwa Mushati, and Dickson Chemvumba.

Further remanded to the 7th of August.

08 July

Harare Magistrate court

The Bulawayo student activist appears in court on charges of insulting the office and person of President Robert Mugabe.

Masvingo Magistrate court

The ZINASU Secretary for legal and academic affairs appeared in court on charges of malicious damage to property.

Courage Ngwarai

The case was further remanded to the 22nd of July.

Bulawayo Magistrate court

Five Bulawayo student activists appeared in court for continuation of trial on charges of demonstrating with intentions of causing public violence and breach of peace.

Sheunesu Nyoni, Samson Nxumalo, Brian Mtisi, Melusi Hlabano and Archiford Mudzengi

The case is set to continue on the 29th of July.

Masvingo Magistrate court

Former Great Zimbabwe University student activist appeared in court facing charges of contempt of court.

Five Bulawayo activists appeared in court for continuation of trial on charges of demonstrating with intentions of causing public violence and breach of peace.

Judgment was reserved on the application of referral to the supreme court and the case continues on the 12th of August.
