Its revenge mission for DeMbare

The Glamour Boys have not forgotten the humiliating 1-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of the Premiership rookies in the first round of the PSL season way back in April.

Dynamos supporters hope coach Elvis Chuchu Chiweshe and his charges will rise to the occasion and shake off the moral-sapping defeat they suffered last week at the hands of old enemy CAPS United in the Nestle Charity Shield final and the uninspiring 0-0 draw against army-side Black Rhinos, the previous week.

The loss to CAPS was Chuchus first taste of defeat since he took over from David Yogi Mandigora earlier this year. But some sections of the DeMbare family are already grumbling impatiently saying the team is sliding backwards. They said that the last two matches have exposed Chuchus weaknesses in the absence of free-scoring striker Cuthbert Malajila who went to try his luck in Belgium.

Chuchu is getting into Mandigoras madness of substituting Eddie (Mashiri) and Wonder (Sithole) even when they are playing well and leaving Gazza (Desmond Maringwa) on the field, even when he is off-form. He replaces Eddie with (David) Shoko on the right when he is a left footer, said a Dynamos supporter, Solomon Munganyi.

He (Chiweshe) should try Bacossi (Phillip Marufu) and Mercy (Ncube) since Malajila is not yet back because Audience Rundofa is still new and I believe he still needs time.

Malajila who was expected back in the country last week is still in Europe after the Belgian team extended his trial period as they continue to assess him.

Eagles under the guidance of Bigboy Mawiwi cannot be underestimated. They have a never-say-die attitude that has seen them upset many so-called big boys and Dynamos would be the last to forget the hiding they got from the same side.

Apart from their opponents today, they grabbed three points from CAPS United and Highlanders in the first half of the season.

Although trailing DeMbare with 12 points, Eagles followers will be hoping their boys pull another surprise victory from high-flying Glamour Boys. It is always sweet to beat such a big team and we hope to show Dynamos that the march to the championship title will not be just a stroll in the park. Even though we are new this year, it will be great if we would be counted among the best teams at the end of the season.

We didnt get promotion just to replace the relegated, we deserved it and this is what we will be out to prove, said an Eagles follower, Tongai Mashavane, who will be rallying behind the Marondera-based side today.
