The trial of MDC Youth Assembly Chairperson and deputy Youth Minister, Hon. Thamsanqa Mahlangu who is facing charges of stealing a cellphone from self-styled war veteran, Joseph Chinotimba, kicked off at the Harare Magistrates Courts with Chinotimba giving evidence. (Pictured: Thamsanqa Mahlangu)Hon. Mahlangu is facing trial with his aide, Malven Chadamoyo, who is also facing the same charge. The two are denying the charges. Chinotimba is alleging that Hon. Mahlangu and Chadamoyo stole his cellphone on 17 July in Harare, which he claimed was valued at an exorbitant US$40.
The trial continues tomorrow.
