JOHANNESBURG - Veteran Zimbabwe international football forward, Gilbert Mushangazhike, has joined Mpumalanga Black Aces - ending weeks of speculation that he was quitting Orlando Pirates.Mushangazhike joined Black Aces this week ahead of a crucial encounter against former champions Mamelodi Sundowns. Excited Black Aces head coach, Sammy Troughton, announced the arrival of Mushangazhike, saying he was the right striker to stir the Mpumalanga-based premiership club to dizzy heights.
“Our players (Black Aces) are ready to welcome him (Mushangazhike) with open arms and help him settle quickly. We had to strengthen our frontline and Mushangazhike was the right candidate for the job,” said Troughton.
Mushangazhike could not be reached for comment by the time of going to press.
