Residents hold training

This weekend Bulawayo Progressive Residents Association held a consultative meeting in Mpopoma and a Training of Trainers Workshop.

The meeting was attended by 257 residents and issues discussed include the exorbitant rates being charged by Bulawayo City Council, Tel One and ZESA. Meanwhile 25 residents’ leaders went through the BPRA training of trainers programme on Saturday. The training focused on leadership and local governance. The Bulawayo Agenda local governance manual was used for the trainings. The trainers will in turn train the 29 structures of the association.
