They are facing charges of malicious damage to property which emanated from demonstrations that rocked UZ in July 2007. Their case was postponed after state witnesses failed to appear in court. The trio Shingirai Chikomba, Ceaser Sitiya and Thabani Moyo are set to appear in court on the 25th of August.

Student activists appear in court
Three suspended student activists from the University of Zimbabwe appeared in court today. The three are part of seven students who were discharged in early 2008.
