Tsvangirai addresses South Africa

morgan_tsvangirai_2JOHANNESBURG - ZIMBABWE Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai on Saturday vowed to redeem Zimbabwe from a steep cliff.

The visibly confident Tsvangirai dismissed obstacles bedeviling the operations of the inclusive government at temporary set-backs, which will soon cease to exist.

Tsvangirai announced to the whistling and cheering crowd that he would be meeting Zuma to report the 700 transgressions which Zanu PF committed against the political agreement.

“I would approach the Chairman of SADCC, President Jacob Zuma to highlight him on the remaining issues,” said Tsvangirai who ruled out any possibility of pulling out of the government.

He said the changing process was one way and there is no reverse.

“This is a train without reverse,” said Tsvangirai.

Tsvangirai decried the conditions which Zimbabweans stay in Johannesburg’s Central Methodist Church.

He revealed that he once took a night tour of Church.

“I found people sleeping everywhere on the floor, said Tsvangirai.

Tsvangirai implored Zimbabweans to determine their own destiny.

“You are own your own and never expect anybody to liberate you,” said Tsvangirai.

He added that his government brought living allowances to civil servants who were earning almost nothing.

He revealed that hospitals were now operational adding that food commodities were also reappearing on the shelves a development which unheard of six months ago.

The MDC firebrand also said children were also back in classes.

The Prime Minister told Zimbabweans that he inherited a government which had totally collapsed, but was in the process of resuscitating it.

“There is nowhere in the world a government managed to deal with national problems within six months,” said Tsvangirai.

Responding to questions from the audiences, about security and opportunities, Tsvangirai, challenged Zimbabweans to desist from the habit of only seeking ‘penalty kicks’.

“Do you really need security to go to your own home?” said Tsvangirai much to the excitement of the audience.-CAJ News
