HARARE CAPS United and Dynamos supporters last Wednesday clashed at Rufaro Stadium after the Glamour Boys morale shattering loss to Monomotapa in a league encounter. Both teams were involved in midweek fixtures with CAPS United clashing with Kiglon at Gwanzura while log leaders Dynamos took on champions Monoz.
Makepekepe hammered their opponents 3-0 while Dynamos crashed 1-2 leaving their frustrated supporters to vent their anger on CAPS fans who were wildly celebrating the Green Machines victory.
CAPS United fans whose side had played a 1-all draw with arch rivals DeMbare only three days earlier, left Gwanzura driving past Rufaro where Dynamos supporters where grieving their teams loss and all hell broke loose.
Dynamos followers started throwing missiles at the vehicles of jubilant United fans passing by sparking a serious confrontation before the police scared both sets of supporters off.
