Governor faces maintenance case

BULAWAYO Metropolitan provincial governor Cain Mathema has been taken to court for failing to provide essentials for the four children he had in his 12-year marriage to a Tsholotsho woman.

Musa Ncube is demanding US$5,240 a month from the governor, whom she accuses of failing to buy food and other basics for the children. Ncube was demanding $1,400 for school fees, $1,240 for food, $400 for school uniforms, another $400 for casual clothes and $1,800 for holiday expenses.
