Mtshakazi was drinking with friends when soldiers based at a nearby military base came and started questioning them on why they were playing a popular MDC album called Nharembozha.
The soldiers reportedly started beating up all the people in the bar accusing them of fanning hatred in the community. Mtshakazi, 33, was buried last Friday at Mufiri Village. He is survived by a wife and three children.
