Sungura musician Tongai Dehwa Moyo last week revealed that he is recovering from cancer and still has the energy that will take him on another successful musical journey.Speaking on the sidelines of a show at Mutares Chapter One, Moyo said that, even though he was still on medication, he was strong enough to continue doing live shows.
Moyo was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2007.
I have made some steady progress and I am poised for a remarkable recuperation. I am expecting to go for further chemotherapy in South Africa at the end of September, he said.
