She made the scathing attack last Friday at Nkayi Business Centre during a meeting with the councillors. Bhebhe was expelled from the party for denouncing the political organisations leaders and automatically lost his parliamentary seat. Misihairambwi-Mushonga accused the councillors of entertaining Bhebhe and said that the door was open for anyone who wanted to leave the party.
She made reference to the rebellious trio which includes Bhebhe and two other legislators who were expelled at the same time: Njabuliso Mguni and Norman Mpofu. The door is open, you can go, we are a democratic party, we will not hold you back, said Misihairambwi-Mushonga. I would like to express disappointment at you councillors because instead of focusing on development you are spending time running around with Bhebhe.
The deputy secretary general denounced Bhebhes impersonation of a public office official as illegal. He could be arrested for that. His friends should tell him that it is a crime. It is like wearing a policemans uniform and pretending to be a cop, she said.
