Black Rhinos, Underhill, Highway to be relegated

footballHARARE - As the 2009 Premier Soccer League season comes to an end with only four matches remaining, a snap survey conducted by SFM radio station has shown that struggling Premier Soccer League returnees Black Rhinos were condemned by nearly 100 per cent of the SFM listeners' votes to go back to Division One, with 90 per cent predicting Underhill would accompany them.

12 out of 14 participants, or 86 per cent, said Highway would also return from where they came-Division One, compared with only 14 percent who thought Motor Action would wave goodbye to the Premiership after 10 years in the elite league.

A similar percentage also directed the axe at Bulawayo side Njube Sundowns. Rhinos, under the guidance of Gishon “Gizha” Ntini, are lying at the basement of the table with a paltry 19 points from 26 matches and next to them are Underhill, who have accumulated 25 points from a high total of 25 matches.

Highway, Motor Action and Njube Sundowns are hovering just above with 27, 27 and 26 points respectively. The league programme resumes on November 7 after a two week break to give way to the regional COSAFA Castle Cup tournament which is currently underway in Zimbabwe.
