According to a recent statement by FAMWZ director Angela Makamure, FAMWZ is calling on journalists to submit articles on gender issues for the 2009 gender reporting awards. Prizes will be given in three categories namely print, electronic and the on-line media.
Makamure said that the articles should be on issues covering women and youths. It is understood that the Norwegian Students and Academics International Assistance Fund is supporting the awards.
