Ea Lla Koto a few weeks ago gave Valinhos, fired by ZIFA in December last year, a two-year contract at the club, thereby relegating former head coach Themba Sithole to the lesser role of assistant coach.
The new role of Gorowa, who had until then been Sitholes assistant, had remained unexplained, with indications being that the club could re-assign him, but sources at the club told The Zimbabwean this week that Gorowa did not want to be re-assigned a role lesser than the one held at the beginning of the season.
Gorowa is one of the most qualified and able coaches in the league at the moment and he felt that any junior role to assistant coach would be too small for him and thus decided to leave the club, said a source.
Although Gorowa, a former head coach at Moroka Swallows, could not be reached for comment on his current position, indications were that he could be heading for Ajax Cape Town, top team up with head coach Muhsin Etugral.
