Mazembe are using the match as preparation for their CAF Champions League final against Nigerias Heartland next weekend.
The flamboyant Congolese side, who beat Harare giants Dynamos 1-0 through a Given Silunguma 14th minute strike last Saturday, denied rumours that they wanted to sign three Monomotapa players this week.
TP Mazembe head coach Diego Garzitto told The Zimbabwean that they had not made any moves to sign any local players since their arrival.?
We have not signed the players, he said. We are focused at playing our friendly matches and improve on our game so that we win our match against Heartland.
Monoz skipper Mthulisi Maphosa, stylish midfielder Christopher Samakweri and forward Daniel Zokoto, were earlier reported to be on their way to TP Mazembe.?
The trio were outstanding when Monomotapa took on the Congolese champions in the Champions League mini-league phase.
