Zanu (PF) thugs are on a campaign of terror against MDC supporters in Murewa West constituency. The thugs include: Jonathan Easyguy Sewera of Domborembudzi business centre, the DCC chairman and losing Zanu (PF) councilor of ward 12, Israel Mariki, Zanu (PF) chairman for ward 14, the bloodthirsty Nicholas Chakavarika and Arnold Nerwande of MuOn October 14, the hopeless Zanu (PF) thugs held a meeting at Rodzi business centre. In order to lure people to the meetings, the thugs lied that there would be distribution of seed, food or fertilizer. When people gathered at Rodzi, the thugs started threatening them with death if ever they continued to support MDC-T.
On October 16, the bloodthirsty Nicholas Chakavarika, Arnold Nerwande, Israel Mariki and Jonathan Easyguy Sewera addressed a forced audience at Musami business centre. They threatened MDC supporters and said that they would come to kill Tobias Tsuro the MDC chairman for ward 13 and John January, an MDC activist. At this meeting they denounced MDC highly esteemed President Morgan Tsvangirai.
On the same day the Zanu (PF) thugs went to Chigogodza business centre and reiterated their diabolic and satanic utterances. They even declared war against the innocent and defenceless MDC supporters in Murewa west constituency for voting for their preferred and highly esteemed MDC political party. They boasted of being experts in shedding blood of innocent people.
On October 19, the death crew held a meeting at Domborembudzi business centre where they continued their campaign of calumny, intimidation and name calling.
On October 21, they went to Chizanga Business centre and threatened all MDC supporters in the area with death. There was nothing positive that came from their uncouth mouths. They said they would come back with war veterans and wipe out MDC supporters in the area.
On October 24, the man of the people, Ward Nezi, was on a meet the people tour and he was greeted by the news of the threats that were directed to MDC supporters in the constituency. Ward Nezi drove to Chikupo were he addressed people gathered at Chikupo Primary School. The MP encouraged the people to love one another despite their political differences and to refrain from being used by politicians to sow seeds of hatred.
What surprised the people most is that when the people told the MP about the campaign of terror by Zanu (PF) and the death threats they had received, the MP told them to love those who persecuted them and forgive those who caused them to suffer.
Let us leave tomorrows troubles to the one who bore our troubles on the cross, he said.
Murewa west constituency wish that the Zanu (PF) MPs could emulate Ward Nezis spirit of togetherness, friendliness, neighbourliness and above all Godliness.
