If the elected president is performing dismally, as Mugabe is, there should be mechanisms to make him step down through the holding of fresh elections. ANON., Harare

If an elected president is able to rule and govern well, and the electorate is happy and satisfied, he/ she should be allowed to serve for two, five year terms only. No presidential appointments on parliamentary seats. All MPs should be elected by the electorate. All citizens of Zimbabweans residing in foreign countries should be allowed to VOTE in any elections in Zimbabwe. MJ, Harare

Zanu (PF) is showing us that it will not grow up as a party. Why does it continue to pursue destructive policies that do not promote the development of the nation? Now that it is facing humiliation over the Bennett case, it is again trying to pursue another case against a different MDC cadre. Does it not have better things to do other than harass MDC officials? Zanu (PF) knows nothing but violence. Zanu (PF) is finishing itself, the writing is on the wall, the self destruction button is irretrievably jammed and no-one will save them. In our constitution we should put in place measures to guard against such rogue parties. – ANON., Harare

Since it has become the norm to emphasise facts as they are believed I think it is also fair to address Morgan Tsvangirai as the Prime Minister, Head of Government and council of minister, Deputy Chair of cabinet and head of the MDC, the party that won the parliamentary and presidential elections. This will serve as a reminder to those who want to undermine the person of the Prime Minister and this will mean that we will need to review the powers of the Prime Minister in our new constitution.
