1. Senior citizens both in rural and urban areas must be paid a monthly grant regardless of their ethnicity. Moyo N. Soweto.

2. The constitution must clearly stipulate that there should be no politicisation of state security organs by the leadership. Anonymous.

3. My views on the people driven constitution are: –

-The National Security Council must be independent from the executive

-the executive powers of the state must be vested in the cabinet, prime minister and president.

-Traditional leaders must also be elected by the people within their communities and must have one five-year term of office and they must be apolitical in their administration of their duties.

-Attorney General, Chief Justice and RBZ Governor must be appointed by parliament. Obvious Benhura.

4. The new constitution must guarantee human, women and childrens rights. Stanislaus Roy Ruvengo, Chinhoyi.

5. A presidential term should be five years. A president can stand for re-election for second five-year term but can only serve a maximum of two terms. There should be a Bill of Rights, which should seek to protect the fundamental rights of every person. The president should have no power to dissolve parliament after vote of no confidence is passed in him/her. EM Bindura.
