Youth prepare for cricket tour

cricket_BULAWAYO - Fifteen Zimbabwe national Under-19 cricket team players have gone into camp ahead of their Bangladesh Youth Series Tour. The Bangladesh tour is set to be held from November 8-14. The team is expected to leave for Bangladesh on November 7.

Dulip Chouhan, the team manager, said the boys were raring to go and were relishing the opportunity to showcase their talent. “The Pakistan Youth Series, that we held in October, was very important in preparing the team for the upcoming tour. The Under-19s lost 5-1 to Pakistan in the six One-Day International Series (ODIs) played in Harare at the beginning of October.

Seamer Edzai Jaure, Natsai Mushangwe and Gary Chirimuta will lead the team’s bowling attack while Tinashe Mhora, Mutombodzi and Dean Mazhawidza are expected to lead the batting attack.
