HARARE - Zimbabwe Broadcasting Holdings (ZBC) has been accused of bribing the company's Head of Human Resources, Benania Shumba, who is responsible for a team investigating claims of sexual harassment among the staff.
Highly-placed sources at ZBC’s Pockets Hill head office said Shumba was last week given a green Mazda B25 vehicle from the three news department fleet. Shumba has served the company for more than 10 years and had no company vehicle until the moment he began investigating the scandal involving senior managers.
When contacted for comment over the bribe, Shumba said he was not allowed to talk about company issues. ZBC news and Current Affair Manager, Tarzan Mandizvidza, denied the allegations and referred the reporter to the company Chief Executive Happison Muchechetere.
