The BBC Radio 1 talent a close friend of owner Robin Lyle will be hosting the Reggae Night at Stars Studio alongside DJs Highly Bless, Errol Silver and Bryan K from Dublin. Stars Studio resident DJs T Bass and P Styles will assist them on the decks.
In addition, bar staff have concocted a special rum punch cocktail for the occasion and jerk chicken will be on offer to spice up the fest.
Since his first gig in Jamaica in 1985 with a sound called Soul Symphony Disco, Chris earned the title Goldfinger, after mixing two totally different records to make one incredible beat. Now he is widely followed on BBC Radio 1 on his Sunday show.
Admission will be reasonable before 12 and more after, and management are encouraging clean swag for the show.
On December 19, Goldfinger will adjudicate over the 100-sound clash at Andy Miller Hall, where Zimbabwes top sound systems will be doing battle. Among the highly-rated sound systems vying for the cup will be King Stereo One International, Champion Sound Silverstone, Shocking Vibes, Madhouse, New Generation and more. The top MCs will also be competing for the years crown and the competition will feature Winky D, Sniper Storm, Badman, Templeman and Junior Banton.
