Ten Bulawayo students appeared in court

Ten students from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) today appeared before a Bulawayo Magistrate on routine remand.

The ten Trevor Vambe, Christopher Hwada, Brighton Mukwari, Fortune Karimanzira, Kennedy Chizana, Michael Zvinowanda, Evans Musara, Mukai Chigumo, Lawrence Bhebhe and Tawanda Saiti are facing charges of Public Violence. The charges arose in April after students demonstrated on campus against high Tuition Fees. These students have been further remanded to the 18th of March 2010 out of custody.
