US police says a burglar helped himself to beer, fried some chicken, took a shower and even gave himself a haircut after breaking into a home. Jose Nicolas DeGracia, 27, of Easton, Pennsylvania, is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief, reports the Morning Call. Householder Grace Knaus called police after arriving home just after 5pm to find a man she had never seen before sitting at her kitchen table. Police say the man appeared to have visited every room in the house, going through dresser drawers and cupboards. Family photos had all been laid face down on their shelves.
Police found cans of empty and partially consumed beer throughout the house and said some chicken had been fried in the kitchen. The intruder had even taken a shower, cut his hair with some clippers and dressed himself in clothes and boots belonging to Ms Knaus’s grandson.
