They have partitioned the rooms in the main farmhouse and turned some of them into goat breeding rooms while residing in the same house with the animals.
One newly resettled farmer at the farm, who is using compound accommodation, said the war veterans were not producing anything and had thought of keeping goats in the house as a vibrant business.
“These guys started by vandalising every property which was here before turning to the goat project they are now doing. We think they are having mental problems because no sane person can share the same dwelling with goats. They spend most of their time cutting down trees and selling firewood. They have destroyed the farm which was rich. They are also terrorising us and demand rentals from us because they fought for this country, said the new farmer who identified himself as Keche.
