Gundidza said that she was not willing to divulge anything about her baby or the relationship she has with the babys father. The songstress gave birth to baby girl, Minana, just over two weeks ago, on January 6 in Harare. She revealed that the baby was fathered by on-and-off husband Roki who has been in Malaysia since November last year. Pauline recently told Mtandazo Dube of the Sunday Mail that she was not done with baby making and would like to have as many children as possible and I want to have a son. I want to raise a real man, someone Ill look at with pride and show the world that it is possible to give birth to men that are responsible.
Pauline and Roki were the Urban Grooves poster couple in the founding days of the music genre, circa 2004. The two had met a few years before when Pauline was just 17 years of age, fresh from her O Levels at Dominican Convent High School in Harare. They shocked their fans however, when they decided to get married. After they got married, the Josphats did not want her to continue performing and she disappeared from the entertainment scene for a while. But the call of music was too strong and she was soon back performing with her hit group Mafriq.
Her first child with Roki, daughter Skye, was born in 2005 and is now four. Shortly after she was born it was rumoured that Roki was seeing another girl, then another one, and another. He has three other known children, Rockford Jnr, Josphats and Herbert, all with different mothers. Magnanimously Pauline has reportedly said: If he is their father then I am their mother.
About his Malaysian escapades, Pauline says that Roki is not idling around and is recording some new stuff and will be back when he is done.
