It was because of standards set long back and these standards needs to be maintained. In a bid to strengthen the side, Dynamos, have so far acquired the services of Felex Kuswatuka, Herbert Mundwa, Francis Mandiwanzira and former Caps United captain, Ashley Rambanapasi. The Harare giants are also yet to sign former Shooting Stars and Caps United defender, David Kutyauripo, Louis Matawu from Motor Action, Esau Amisi who played for Gunners last season, 2009 soccer star of the year finalist, Farayi Vimisai and Ali Cassim who all trained with the team at Rufaro stadium, last week.

They include goalkeeper Washington Arubi, Khumbulani Banda (Bantu Rovers), Zephania Ngodzo, Stephen Alimenda (Highlanders), Dylan Chivandire, Thabani Kamusoko (Njube Sundowns), Matthew Mahala (Chapungu) and Isaac Pitamuja (Kiglon). Even though we are going to make changes this season it will not because we played badly last season, we played well and there is need to strengthen the team, said Chiweshe. Among the players dropped for the continental showdown is Lloyd Hlahla, Merciful Ncube and injured pair of Rueben Mhlanga and David Shoko.
