You also have realised that to know God, you need to spend time in His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to conceive the Word in your spirit.
We again come to the question: Does God really want to bless the people of Zimbabwe, or because of peoples sins, their attitude towards God, their rejection of Jesus, God will not or cannot bless Zimbabwe?
The good news is God wants to bless Zimbabwe, and all the people of Zimbabwe. It is up to us. As Christians we should believe Jesus died for us, He took sickness and disease upon Himself. (1 Peter 2:24) He became a curse for us. (Galatians 3:13). People dont go to hell because they are bad people; they go because they reject Jesus and what He did for them.
If you consider yourself a Christian, but dont accept what He did for you, you have a problem. Romans 10:9 says confess that Jesus died for you, and believe in your heart. Many evangelists omit to mention the second part of the verse, you need to believe. If you do these two things or have done them, then you are a Christian! Jesus paid for your sins, past, present and future. Praise His Name!
It says in Galatians 3 that the blessing of Abraham is ours! Abraham was a blessed man! We are blessed, the blessing of Deuteronomy 28 is ours!
I guess a question may have popped into your mind, well if I am blessed, why is there no evidence in my life? Good question! The reason is we need to believe! Abraham was considered righteous, why, because he believed. Hebrews 6 says the only way we can please God, is not to pray for hours, or give, or to spend time at church, but through faith. Gods blessing does not come automatically, we have to believe!
