Scalded police officer battles for life

The sergeant sustained serious burns. The woman was enraged by the husbands suspected adulterous love relationship. The unsuspecting husband had just retired to bed in the evening, when the enraged wife committed the gruesome act, said a police officer, who lives near the couple. The wife is said to be keeping vigil at the hospital and is keeping strangers and reporters away from Kurete. Colleagues visiting the patient said he was beside himself with pain. The force is now deciding whether to press charges and take disciplinary action.
