MDC secretary-general and Finance Minister, Hon. Tendai Biti, who was involved in a horrific car crash on Tuesday night, was discharged from a private hospital this morning.
Hon Biti will today leave for the eastern border town of Nyanga for the SADC-brokered inter-party talks with negotiators from the two other opposition parties in line with the time frames set by South Africa President Jacob Zuma.
President Zuma is the facilitator in the on-going dialogue to nudge Zanu PF and its leader Mr Robert Mugabe to abide by the Global Political Agreement signed by the three major political parties on 15 September 2008.
