Coach delighted about Baz

HARARE - Argyle Plymouth head coach, Paul Mariner, has expressed delight at the granting of a work permit to Zimbabwean left-back Onismor Bhasera and his imminent signing.

Mariner thanked an independent tribunal for ruling in favour of the Zimbabwe international to be granted the permit, which will enable him restart his career after a lengthy period on the sidelines.

“Baz, as we like to call him, has got tremendous pace and is tremendous at tackling. I was delighted with what happened last Wednesday. We had a tremendous hearing, said Mariner.

He said Bhasera would add value to the relegation-haunted club.

Bhaseras signing is set to end the Zimbabweans woes after a transfer wrangle with South African club Chiefs, who claimed the player was still contracted to them. FIFA however ruled that he was a free agent.
